Beyonce Has Severed Business Ties With Her Father

Beyonce has finally followed in the footsteps of her Destiny Child group members and terminated her business relationship with her father, Matthew Knowles.

Beyonce said,

“I’ve only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me. I grew up watching both he and my mother [Tina Knowles] manage and own their own businesses. They were hard-working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps.

“Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.”

I’m hoping that this doesn’t mess up their family relationship, sometimes doing business with family is not the best route to go! However, considering that Beyonce has been married for a few years to hip hop mogul Jay-Z…she just may be handing over the reins to her husband.
