Question of the Day: Why Are Black Women's Wombs Under Attack

Life Always is back at it again…

Four men-Pastor Stephen Broden, Rev. Derek A. McCoy, Rev. Caesar LeFlore and Rev. Isaac Hayes-will unveil the first of 30 new billboards on the South Side of Chicago. This one features an image of Chi-Town’s own President Obama along with the words,

“Every 21 minutes, our next possible LEADER is aborted.”

It incorporates red, black and green, the colors of the Black Nationalist flag.

Life Always board member Rev. Derek McCoy argues:

“Our future leaders are being aborted at an alarming rate … These are babies who could grow to be the future Presidents of the United States, or the next Oprah Winfrey, Denzel Washington or Maya Angelou.”

I’m not understanding why this group continues to target black women and demonize them for a woman’s right to choose. Last time they had a billboard reading, “The Most Dangerous Place For A Black Child Is In The Womb.”

Somebody needs to tell this group to sit down! Making a women afraid to chose to carry a child into the world is only going to create more unwanted children who may suffer from abuse and neglect.
