Howard University Students Arrested In Front Of The White House

Howard University students joined in the activism that took place around the globe to bring attention to the Troy Davis case.

Several student groups organized a march to the White House and they stood in front to bring attention to the cause.

After being asked to move 3 times by police officers, 12 students and one professor were arrested and booked.

The students were arrested for failure to obey a lawful police order and the professor was arrested for crossing a police line.

Other Howard University students banded together to achieve bail for their peers and the students were released.

Kudos to Howard University in its support their peers!
