Desperate Attempt To Salvage Marriage
LB Williams is a 50-year-old man who did the unthinkable to get his wife to reconsider filing for divorce.
Mr. Williams who is black decided to burn a cross outside the home he once shared with his white wife.
The cross was meant to resemble the hateful messages that the Ku Klux Klan used to intimidate black people.
Mr. Williams included a note with the cross that got him caught when his wife recognized his handwriting.
She said: ‘The note said ”They were watching us”. I assumed me and the kids, and it said that I better not leave that n*****,’ Mrs Williams said.
The note was then signed ‘KKK’.
Mr. Williams was arrested a couple of days later but released without bond.
He was charged with two felonies –
- domestic violence stalking
- exhibits that intimidate.
