The A&E television series, Beyond Scared Straight recently took some severe measures to discipline some troubled kids. In the video, a group of kids are ushered into the living quarters of forty inmates in one area. The kids are told to go into the center of the room and watch helplessly as inmates are released from their cells to rush them simultaneously. Prisoners stand on tables, topple over each other and make obscene comments as they “scare straight” the children before them.
