The new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta will be premiering soon, and what’s a new season without drama for it’s debut? So who is the Atlanta husband defending his sexuality? None other than newbie housewife soon-to-be no wife, Porsha Stewart’s husband Kordell Stewart! We all know that Porsha and Kordell are in the middle of a divorce, so we already know what the majority of her storyline will consist of this season.

Anyway, besides the divorce, Kordell and Porsha are now combating each other with rumors of his sexuality. The gay rumors have been lingering but recently Porsha stated that Kordell “didn’t want her physically” implying that he wanted something other than the opposite gender, in a brief preview of the new season. Hmmm….

Well, Kordell pretty much calls his still-wife a bold face lie when he confronted the accusation. Here’s what he had to say about his alleged gay rumors.

I’m very ashamed of my wife for saying something that she knows is not true at all. The rumors have never been true. I’m not gay. It is sad that she would target the homosexual community which often times lacks support to begin with. It is very disappointing that she will do anything and say anything for a minute of so-called fame. She can have that life, I just want to continue to be the best single dad and father that I can for my son.

Sounds like some classic “he said/she said” to me. Whether he is or isn’t, maybe that might explain the odd and shady divorce reveal via Twitter? I don’t know, maybe it really was irreconcilable differences or the ugly part of fame that broke the marriage up. Who really knows. Do you believe the gay rumors?
