Fake Doctor Revealed on ‘RHOA’ – AskDrO Finally Speaks Out!

Tiy-E Muhammad - The "Love Doctor"

Now this one is simply ridiculous! Now She “Bi” Sheree’ Whitfield can not be this shallow.  A lot of people have a problem with NeNe’s frankness but this girl is on point. And now for the main event…

If you recall, in an episode of ‘RHOA’, Sheree Whitfield went on a date with Mr. Tiy-E Muhammad, and was so smitten that she decided to make it official with him. But…as it turns out, “Dr.” Tiy-E Muhammad is not a “Dr.” at all; he’s just a FRAUD. He received no Ph.D of any kind, nor any other doctorate degree. He was actually FIRED from Clark Atlanta University in 2005 after school records called his bluff on his credentials, but HE says that he resigned because he “no longer felt that spark” from teaching (yeah right, we ALL know that truth about that.)

Muhammad, though, did receive a Master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Eastern Illinois University, and claims he was “unaware” that calling himself a psychologist without a license was illegal, saying that he “checked it out when I move [to Georgia]. It’s not against the law.” Well then, “Dr.” Muhammad, I suppose that every grocery store clerk who asks, “How are you feeling today?” should call themselves “psychologists” too, right?

This “Love Doctor” has penned many books, done interviews and reality shows under his title as “Dr.” but the cap on that illusion is sealed. In addition to being bashed for his false credentials, his facade could cost him jail time, as he could face misdemeanor charges for his self-proclaimed doctoral achievements. Perhaps he will find his calling as a “Love Doctor” while he’s incarcerated, giving guidance and counseling to his fellow inmates! Hey…anything is possible!

Do you always check your doctor’s credentials? Do you know the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist? Is it important to know if your doctor is real or fake? Inquiring minds want to know…
