It is indeed a sad and corrupt world that we live in.  But many think the “enemy” is outside their home, when in reality sometimes the enemy resides right along with them.  Tonya Thomas, thirty-three year-old mother of four, was found dead alongside her children in their Port St. John home.  As the case unfolds, investigators say hat the mother sent a friend a text message at 3 a.m. stating that she wished for her and her children to be cremated.

Allegedly, after Ms. Thomas sent the text message, she pulled a gun on her four children, three of whom escaped to a neighbor’s house.  Immediately Ms. Thomas phoned the neighbor, forcing her children to return home where she later shot them again.  When officials arrived to the scene, Ms. Thomas and her four children, ages 17, 15, 13, 12, were found dead in theirFloridahome.  Investigators know that the woman has had no significant criminal history, but she had charges of domestic battery dropped against her in 2002.

Her 15-year old son, Jaxs Johnson, was set to be in court on Tuesday for a misdemeanor charge involving his mother, but it is not known if that played a part in the shootings.  (sure if that’s what you want to believe)  Now… with all of that being said, this woman is a poor excuse of a mother.  I couldn’t imagine doing something like this to my own blood.  And not only that, she texts your friend and says that she wanted her and her children to be cremated.  Well, what about telling us what you were upset at!!  This goes to show that sometimes the enemy is much closer than you think!  If you have any new information on this case or any opinions about this incident, don’t be afraid to leave a comment below!
