Wendy Williams has done it Again!

Yesterday on the Wendy Williams show,  Wendy touch on Jesse Williams’ humanitarian speech at the BET awards. She surprised her entire in-show and at-home audience when she said

“I must say to you, he was on BET. His speech was very poignant. On the other hand, I would be really offended if there was a school that was known as a historically white college. We have historically black colleges. What if there was the National Organization for White People, only? There’s the NAACP…National speeches like this will always rub people the wrong way just like white people will be offended because Spelman College is a historically black college for women. You might feel funny about that. I know I’d feel funny, like I just told you. If there was a white college or whatever.”

Who is this “you”‘you’re speaking to Wendy? We are wondering if Wendy has ever heard of a PWI?! I am not offended by PWIs and I don’t think the majority of white people are offended by HBCUs. I think tailored education is important for the development of the individual with respect to what they so choose. Wendy is currently catching fire for her words.

It’s not yet apparent if she’s regretting her careless words. But hey, Wendy is always the talk of the town!
