It is amazing how when we were supporting Lethal Weapon 1,2 and any other Mel Gibson flick, we where patrons or fans. Now we have “all of a sudden” become Niggers.  It depresses me to know that we are not further along in race-relations than we are today. I would love to have a face-to-face with Mel to ask him if Danny Glover is also a Nigger? When I heard of his racist rant last night, I became a little perturbed. His behavior is unacceptable. I was  not going to write on this holiday eve, but this issue must be addressed. I am sick and tired of racist people getting away with murder. Yes, the murder of another race.  Now just for a refresher, several weeks ago, Mr.Gibson was racist ranting on the Jews. This was also unacceptable.

Just for recall, Mr.Gibson inferred that because his ex- girlfriend, was dressed  a particular way, she could be “raped by a pack of Niggers.” The relationship between the two of them is over, what is his problem!   His  remarks were both racist and sexist.  There has to be an underlying depression in this guy. Now, something very surprising happened to me this morning. I found out that Nigger is a word and is defined in Wikipedia. I was amazed but I must publish this  working definition….

Nigger

• a noun
• usuage in a pejorative context to refer to Black People
• also an informal slang term
• a variation of the Spanish/Portuguese noun negro
• (negro-means the color “black people”)
• a racial insult
• However can be a term of endearment, when used appropriately  within the culture of Black People. (Dr.O’s addition)

Call to Action:

• No more Mel Gibson Movies (period)
• No more Mel Gibson video, DVDs, etc.
• Official resignation from the Mel Gibson Fan Club. (lol)
• An evaluation for depression, anxiety and or substance abuse.
• We send Mel Gibson and invitation to the next BET awards and allow him to speak!
