Laughter is the Best Medicine!Mental HealthQuote for the Week

Laughter is the Best Medicine!

A good, hearty laugh relieves physical tension and stress, leaving your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after. Laughter boosts the immune system. Laughter decreases stress hormones and increases immune cells and infection-fighting antibodies, thus improving your resistance to disease.

Question of the Day: Does Size Really Matter?

A lot of people lie and say that size does not matter. Surely, when you first saw this title, your mind probably went to genitalia. Instead, let me expand your mind a little.

Does size matter with:

  • Bank Account
  • Height and Weight
  • Car/Home
  • Genitalia (for those who participate in sex)

Although comical, these are real issues. A friend once shared with me that she was unhappy in her marriage, and that her husband was spiritual, a provider and a good father, but wasn’t “well-equipped” in the genital region. Here is one of the problems: neither of them were virgins. As a result, she had been exposed to men of varying sizes. Her complaint was that he was, in her opinion, the smallest man she had ever been with in her life. In essence, she stated that he wasn’t “giving her something she could feel, to let her know their love was real!” (EnVogue)  The question she asked was, “do I leave or participate in an illicit affair with one of his friends who’s shown me forbidden fruit?”  I simply replied, “there is a possible consequence to every choice.” Is this problem still a REAL issue today? Do ladies actually want to check out the functionality of the male before committing to marriage? Do you stay with a male or female who does not satisfy you sexually? Is this problem MORE prevalent in the church because we don’t endorse premarital sex?
