Whelp, I’ve heard it through the grape vine that Porsha Stewart may have lied about being side-swiped by that divorce news from Twitter.  Word on the street is that RHOA were less than impressed with her this season. According to Perez Hilton, Porsha allegedly faked her divorce news to stay on the show! Now, other than her rants with Kenya Moore from time to time, Porsha was an “okay” addition to RHOA, but definitely replaceable, I mean she’s  no NeNe(the only original cast member left standing and highest paid on the show) or Phaedra or southern belle with a law degree.

Porsha found out that she was NOT going to come back on the show – and both she and her husband [Kordell] desperately wanted to stay on the Housewives. So they figured if they created a FAKE DIVORCE, like NeNe Leakes did – it would be enough drama for them to be asked back.

So Porsha wants to follow in the footsteps of NeNe? I must say that she has stepped into more of a motherly role this season so it’s natural for a younger cast-mate to gravitate to her but there a few things wrong with Porsha’s aspirations.

First off, NeNe did not fake her divorce with Gregg, they actually did legally separate and divorce from each other (even though in my opinion they never really wanted to in the first place). Second, NeNe had “IT” since the first season. She has been the one to watch since the “get-go” and it shows as she is the last man standing. We wanted to see her every week. She added to the dynamic of the show by being entertaining, outspoken, and being a leader. Porsha on the other hand, we can take her or leave her. When she wasn’t arguing with Kenya ( I do give her props for her punchlines at Kenya during the reunion though. I can tell she practiced those), tagging along for group trip or being pushed further down under Kordell’s thumb, she was kind of boring and dim witted. We can all go back and Google clips of some of her questionable comments and all she really did was take care of Kordell and no one wants to watch her cook and clean every Sunday night.

Plus, it’s obvious that Kordell never wanted her to work in the first place so why would he agree to fake their divorce so she could keep working and be away from him? Kordell was pretty head strong with Porsha and with whoever he encountered this season and it doesn’t seem likely that he would agree to divise such a plan.

Porsha, if indeed you made up all this divorce hoopla for attention then mission accomplished but it will eventually blow over and you’ll be back to your regular life and if it turns out to be true that the divorce was a scheme, the producers of RHOA will probably still give you the boot. I suggest you get some business bout yourself real quick if you want to make the cut for next season.
